Well, well, well. Today I went to work at MOPS. (stands for Mothers of Preschoolers) Where I work once or twice a month, watching the 1&1/2 yr. olds. group, while their poor harrassed mothers got to take a much deserved break, go to a meeting on preschool parenting, do a nice craft, and visit with other mommies. A very good cause, and I get paid for it, and the kids are all doll babies (when I'm not wanting to blow my head off because of a spoiled miss hannah who won't stop SCREAMING, unless carried around the room not once, bu millions of times) ahhh... (blogs are nice, you get to tell the whole internet your troubles and the computer just sits there quietly) but really, they are sweet, especially when convinced that popping bubbles, at least for the moment, is a much more interesting occupation than crying because mommy is gone. As for the culinary, I baked cookies last night. Wow. I am so exciting. Except that there was not enough white flour, so I had to use half bread flour, which made the cookies...well...different.
Last weekend, I overheard more than one person describing how they disliked the tap water at Fairwood, which I had thought tasted delicious compared to the city tap water back home. Rather disturbing if you think about it long enough. What am I drinking?!? Dirt?
Until I Post Again,
Miss Meo

Hi Meredith
Fun to see your blog!
I still remember when you and Daniel were knee-high (well maybe a little higher than that) and seeing you on Sundays
in RI. Say hi to your family for me:)
love,
Karena
Meredith,
We shan't talk about why city water tastes the way it does..after all you have to live there.
At Fairwood, the water pretty much comes straight out of the swamp across the road.
But it is a CLEAN swamp.
um...good idea. (did you HEAR about them finding ___* in one city's water system?)
*the above word was left out for the purpose of letting some people sleep better tonight.
