Isaiah 6: Woe turns to Eow, sort of.

The singing in church lately has turned into some sort of singing contest between Caleb and Timothy. They sing louder and louder, and more and more out of key until it's just ridiculous. I can barely hear the piano playing, much less my own voice.

The sermon today was on the parable of the wheat and the tares/the sheep and the goats. Are you a wheat or a tare? Poor Timothy. He was so confused. Being slightly literal minded, and as he is only seven, he took it literally, and I had to bite back a sinister giggle at the look on his face. I could just imagine him thinking...
"I'm wheat? No, I'm a sheep? And when Jesus comes back, he's going to gather us all, and I'm going to be made into bread? I'm not a goat, I'm a sheep. And Mommy is going to be wheat, and I won't be a weed, and, and..." It was quite comical.
