Sunflowers, tomatos, morning glories, peas, peppermint, beans, chrysanthemums, carrots, snapdragons, oh my!
I looked through mom's large gardening book at all sorts of plants... above are the ones that I am actually considering, although there were tons more that I could have picked. Then I went out back and moved all the wood that was lying in my way (see last post for a picture of the offending wood pile) and raked out all the leaves, rocks, and various miscellany that generally gets raked away...and found some passable soil. Nicely shadowed by trees on the other side of the fence, and all rich and healthy-looking from being under the leaves for so long. Now all I need is some plants and seeds!

way to tackle the large yet delightful job of gardening!
haha, last time when I came to your blog I forgot your address and typed in your username instead. It came up with a site that was partially blocked, and the entry I read was a weird poem or something with bad words in it so I was really puzzled. Of course eventually I realized that it wasn't you.
