Hateful Hills

Zeneida came over today. She said she's moving to a subdivision called "Hateful Hills". I just stared at her for a second, thinking I had heard her wrong. Then I said, "You mean...like...'I hate you' Hateful Hills'? I couldn't comprehend anyone calling a subdivision that. It was like something out of Pilgrim's Progress, too ludicrous to be true. Mom asked how to spell it. It turns out that Zeneida had made a misake...it's ______ Hills. Ah. Her English is pretty good, but there is a rare mistake, and sometimes she asks me what a certain word means. tata.
